CA internet Security was installed on my Windows XP unit after I had used PaperPort version 10. When I try to print something using Paperport to creat a PDF file I get the following error message. "General Extraction Error Location IMP1"

Thanks for the suggestion. The reason I think it is a problem is because Paperport worked fine before on installed CA. I have seen info at Scansoft now Nuance web site that some two spyware programs will block start up of Paperport but didn't say how to repair it. I will take a look at the PDF creator you suggested.

I fail to understand the connection between the two applications. Why to you believe that CA is involved? It seems to me that this is a problem with Paperport. You may want to search their webpage for support forums or FAQ's. Also make sure you have their latest updates.

Instead of using paperport, you may want to try CutePDF to be your PDF printer. It works GREAT! Link below.
