What types of people shouldn't have children?

This is not a philosophical or political question. I just want to know what the criteria is for having children.

being able to physically, mentally, emotionally, financially take care of them...are you on drugs, do you drink alot, what kind of life can you provide....if you answered any more than two of these negatively, then that person shouldn't have children

People who are abusive should not parent their children. People change for one thing (like addicts). It is not for us to say that once you have 2 children you shouldn't have any more. It is not for us to say that if someone needs government assistance they shouldn't have kids. There are all kids of moral and religious and social beliefs out there and many reasons for people to have kids. The great thing about our FREE country is that we are not told that we have to abort our babies after having only two. Sometimes having the responsibility of a new life to take care of is exactly what someone needs in order to get their life back on track, and I've seen that happen.

Child molesters; neglectful and abusive parents; and the ones who openly declare that they can't stand children. I can't understand the philosophy of this - I have actually heard people say that they can't stand their own children, yet they had them on purpose. And the things they can't stand isn't the individual personalities of the children, it is the fact that they are noisy or messy, in general, being children. If you don't like children, why have them?

people who have ever abused or neglected a child in any way, shape or form should be banned from ever having children. a child is a blessing and some people just dont comprehend that.

Above all: anyone who can't control their temper and who thinks hitting is good discipline. Also, anyone who had a bad upbringing (either neglect or abuse) and hasn't dealt with it yet, through therapy or some other way.

The other category would be people who are so involved in their careers/hobbies/selves, etc., that they can't or won't realized their kids need A LOT of attention! If kids are seen as a possession, to be trotted out at holidays to impress relatives and neighbors, then ignored the rest of the time, they'll suffer badly. People with this reason for having kids should be sterilized! (Same for child abusers/molesters!)>

For all of you listing off your criteria about who should and should not be allowed to conceive and have children, I would like to know how many of you consider yourselves pro-life. While spouting off at the mouth about how poor (to your standards), uneducated (again to your standards) people should not be allowed to conceive, will you turn around and yell at a girl who got pregnant and tell her shes a whore and a murderer if she doesn't raise her baby? Those of you who are pro life and telling who you think should be allowed to bear children are so full of **** and hypocrisy you make my head spin and I hate you.

every person in the world has there own opinion on who shouldn;t have children. For those of you that think you know better than everyone else, i think maybe you should yank the log out YOUR eye before trying to pull the log out of everybody elses.
