I have been taking these pills barely since Saturday but I only take ½ a pill every other day but I have noticed bad headaches ever since & tiredness. What can I do to reduce these side effects.

Please I know alot of people will probably say stop taking them but after so many years of struggling even though I watch what I eat and excercise I want to give this a shot. So PLEASE NO DISCIPLINING!

I've taken phentermine a few different times but unfortunately I've never experienced these side effects. The only thing that I could think of is that maybe since it's an appetite suppressant you may have a headache because you're not eating enough?? I will get a headache if I haven't eaten in a while (which doesn't happen frequently - lol!!) and that could also make you tired. Also, if you've cut back on carbs, that will make you extremely tired starting 3rd or 4th day of diet. Good Luck with it - I lost almost 50 lbs with it, but stopped only because of financial reasons - my insurance wouldn't cover prescription or doctor's cost.

It does raise your blood pressure, that could be what's causing the headache. Have your BP checked by the doctor who prescribed them and ask for advice. You don't say which size pill you are taking 1/2 of, there are 15mg, 30 mg and 37.5 mg, maybe you need to go to a smaller dosage pill to begin with.

Purchase smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is quite a bit easier – those diminutive amounts suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to use less.
