I think you cant. Coz yahoo has to support the language which you want to use. Then only you can type and others can view your favourite language.

For example Rediff mail allows its users to write mails in tamil, Hindi and in some other languages. If yahoo is going to support like that then you can do that.

If writing your question in anything but English, you risk having the question removed because one of the "Report Abuse" categories includes an option stating "Not in Correct Language" as a reason.

I assume this is because Yahoo! has other websites and they may want you to ask your question in the local region website instead. In other words, if there is a Yahoo! India or Yahoo! Singapore, these may allow Tamil as a valid language to use on the website.

You could always try to post a question here in Tamil, but the big question is how many serious responses you would get. You are assuming that people reading here will understand you, and will be able to answer your question.

From what I have seen in past cases of spanish, italian, and french postings, be prepared to get some answers from annoyed readers complaining about the language you used and not really answering the question.

I don't think there are any restrictions on what language you use. The only restrictions would be that you could not use the spell check, and you may not be able to use unicode languages (although I am not sure about that - maybe you can).
