I found it surprisingly not as awful as I think it should be

I have found all Christian books to be fiction.
Most are bad and some are worse.

Yes, I have read every book in the series. I am concerned that some are not getting all sides of the story. LaHaye and Jenkins present a pre-tribulation rapture, and many don't even know that the rapture may not even occur until during or after the tribulation. We don't know FOR SURE.

i didn't waste my money buying a Left Behind book having picked one up while browsing at Walden's. it was double spaced with huge margins and print indicating wasted filler space. i read a few pages and the writing was atrocious. infantile and sensationalized as in a pulp fiction novel. Harlequin Romance puts out a better piece of literature.
it saddened me greatly that such obviously trite and vulgar trash was on the best sellers list. our country is apparently filled with milling morons.

Ive watched the movies, Left behind, and Distant thunder etc. I think they go by what they imagine it will be like during the great tribulation. I agree ,I don't think they show how bad it will really be.

Heh. I laughed and laughed when Chloe said she preferred her 30 year old boyfriend be a virgin. That book was NOT written by any woman I know!

I haven't but saw the movie...it was really interesting. Left Behind III is produced really well, it was somewhat scary, because that stuff will come to past. Check it out you can rent it at Blockbuster

It struck me as trite and the plot contrived, but that's just me. I know many other people who love the series.
