This brings back memories... OK, that being said, I'm going to give you sage advice from a 43 year old. Once upon a time I faced the same situation. I had spent many years through High School and college being intimidated by girls/women and afraid to express my interest for fear or rejection or ridicule. In the spirit of "If I'd Only Known Then What I Know Now" - many of those girls are more than willing to listen to a respectful expression of interest in getting to know them. A confident "Hi, I was wondering if you'd like to go for a cup of coffee" can lead to marriage... no fooling. It happened to me - and we've been happily married 20 years now. Don't be afraid - the worst that can happen is she says "no". OK. so? If she's not interested, she not interested... maybe the next one that catches your eye that way will say "Yes". But you'll never know if you don't ask.

Dont!!!! I understand you think she is hot or whatever, but in the end it will not work. Either she will reject any advancement you make or she will accept and you will be stuck working with your chick or fighting all the time. In the end nothing good will come out of this.
but... your going to do it anyways even after my words of wisdom, so find out something she is interested in and bring it up.

Since you must be taking the same class, you certainly have something to talk about? It doesn't have to start out with, how about a date?? Just begin talking to her about something you have in common. If it goes easily enough, then who knows what you will be chatting about in a week or two?

Take the plunge ask her out for a cup of coffe or a drink! The worst thing that could happen is she'd say no.

awww....that's cute. I think you should really just talk to her. I know a guy right now who is doing the same thing around me and I really wish he'd talk to me. Just say, "how are you doing?" and go from there

Be like "hey, what's up?" to strike a conversation. ask her what she's doing. Then maybe if a conversation strikes ask her what her plans are for the weekend =]
