lol! I never thought of that, but you're right, it must have really stunk! I think they shoveled it overboard. Here's one for you...what did Noah do with the woodpecker?

Not even that, can you imagine the amount of food that they would have had on the ark to feed two of every animal on the planet? They were on the ark for 375 days. The buildup of waste and feeding would have been too much for so few people to handle. The ark was just not big enough to do anything that the children's story states.
Also, God being all powerful, why a flood? Why not just murder the people in another way, he is all powerful?

If the ship was big enough for all those animals then there had to have been some thoughts from the engineer on a waste removal system.
They probably had little slats cut into the sides of the boat to push it all out into the water.
By the way I don't think this is the bibles smartest tale.

Stink? Undoubtedly, but if you go to many parts of the world today, they don't treat stink the same way that we "civilized" folks do. I remember that several people have had basic designs that put people and animials together in the same building. In cold climates some folks would build the family residence over the barn so the animal warmth would help keep the family warm in the dead of winter--it wasn't just warmth in that air that rose from the barn below.
As for the physical stuff, I am positive that it was used to feed the fish, as in they dumped it outside. Even being used to stink has its limits. Something else to consider. Even today there are folks who dry animal manure and burn it to cook their meals--give that one a thought!

To anyone who simply says they tossed it overboard, go work in a zoo or a stable for a while. You will soon learn why that is not as simple as it sounds, especially with the number of animals on the ark.

a better question would be: how did they store the food that would have been required to feed these animals. The food alone would have taken up a space twice the size of the supposed ark

Scooped it out the window...you ever been around a horse barn son, lol.
You know its a silly question...but its a relief once in a while to get these (they always seem to be about Noah's Ark, lol). They are not racial, bigoted, anti-anything, there are no offending avatars (that I took note of)...no real bad words, no blaming, no name calling. Thanks.

The ark had three floors. So they either threw it in the bottom of the ship or they threw it overboard.

LOL!
Pew! Imagine not being able to escape that nasty sea smell or that zoo smell?! Bleh!
Oh, and doesn't that Florida Gators fan know that animals procreate with their siblings and parents or children all the time? They know not the difference --people do!
