My friends and I make up a dance each year for our school talent show. This year we have decided on funky outfits, sort of urban, but still really cute. We have one idea, if you have seen the REAL music video for Vertical by T-Squad, we liked the blonde girl's outfit. She has on a skirt, black leggings, xtra high converse, a military vest and a thermal underneath. We have about 5 people in the group. I'll describe the people so it'll help you with ideas.

Mary: she's really nice and crazy in real life but she just likes to be really comfy when she dresses. She's not crazy about trends or anything.

Tristan: She's funny and she dresses trendy. But instead of following all the trends, she adds little things that makes them different.

Nicole #1: She really has no sense of style at all. She's really conservative and she thinks she fashionable, but she really isn't.

Nicole #2: She is really tall and skinny. She loves Abercrombie, and she's materialistic. She's weird in a good way

And me: I am very similar to Tristan, we are practically identical in personalities. My style is funky like hers, but it's chic at the same time.

Wear different outfits - that whole "dressing alike" thing is 1982.

Be yourselves and you'll have more fun.

so what's the problem? it sounds to me like you've got it covered. but incase you don't, pick something the for the conservative people & for you. something you can all live with. like a skirt (not too short) and maybe a funky tank top. and you could always go matching earrings or jewelry, too. oh, and maybe some big boots too.

I would say pick something that represents your style...you can have an overall theme but let everyone personalize it.

Also pick something comfortable...youre going to be dancing so make sure its something you can do all your dance moves in...if you wear a skirt make sure you wear something under it so you dont flash everybody.

I would say this:

Mary: Tight jeans, tee shirt, awesome hat....maybe cool boots

Tristan: Jeans, a halter top, a scarf, thin, and silky.....also, awesome hat

Nicole #1: Black leggings, jean skirt, teeshirt.....boots

Nicole #2: Jeans, tight shirt, boots, hat

You: Black leggings, skirt, not jean, awesome belt+ halter top.

So, what do you want me to tell you. Sounds like you've got the outfit all covered. Sounds good.
