ok...you would be able to find it on your windows folder...BUT DONT MESS UP ANYTHING...DO WHAT I SAY!!!
Go to My Computer>>>
Open C: partition or any that contains the windows folder>>>
Open Windows folder>>>
Open System32 folder>>>
Screw down a little bit and you would see a file named "mspaint">>>right click on it and copy>>>
paste it on your desktop...

P.S. if you cant find "mspaint",,,then as sooon as you enter to the System32 folder>>press "m" and look around.

Well, I'm going to assume you really deleted it, then, yes you need the software program CD. If you bought your computer new, you should have the CD. If you bought it from someone else and they didn't give you the CD, well, try emailing or calling the manufacturer of your computer to buy a new software package CD. Or, you could try finding the particular software program online and downloading it again; maybe free, maybe for a price. Of course, if you really deleted it, you have lost all of your drawings.

firstly when did you delete it
if it was recently do a system restore,it will put back anything you took out,if your not sure how to do this, here's how to.

go down to start.

all programs.

accessories

system tools

system restore ( click it )

it will ask if you want to restore your computer to an earlier date,,click yes

you see a calander, the dates that are dark are the ones you can use,,click the one when you thought you deleted the paint program,,and click next,,,your computer will shut down and restart, and you should have it back.

Try doing a "System Restore" first. It should bring the program back. Just go back to a date when you still had the program.

Try going to the system restore option in XP. It will give you a previous date to restore your computer & fix what you had deleted.
