Fallen trees will give off carbon dioxide as a consequence of the decay of organic matter by microorganisms, in wet environment
perhaps also methane, but no carbon monoxide, that is usually
produced by incomplete combustion o wood, coal, etc.

Carbon monoxide is given off when not enough oxygen is present when the process is happening and there is more than enough oxygen around trees when they decompose(well, there should be) so im guessing, no they dont give off carbon monoxide.

YES, BUT CARBON DIOXIDE. EVENTUALLY ALL TREES DIE AND MOST OF THE CARBON DIOXIDE THAT HAS ACCUMULATED IN THEIR WOODY BIOMASS IS RELEASED INTO THE ATMOSPHERE THROUGH DECOMPOSITION.
