My sister is always in my business and she never quits it. Everday it's the same she looks through everything and she's older than me. She tells her fiance things and I'm guessing that her fiance has a big mouth because he is always trying to give me morals about how to run my life. She tells my mother lies and tries to get me in troube and it makes my mom more suspicious and I think she is starting to believe her, what should I do???

Tell you mom that you are tired of your sister going through your stuff and you would like a lock for you bedroom door.
Nothing that you say is going t change your sisters nature, don't have anything to hide and you won't have to worry. You do deserve some privacy though but unfortunately, when you live in a family that is hard to come by.

I have the same issue but with my younger sister who is seven years younger. She loves telling me what to do and loves getting in my business. I wouldn't mind an advice but shes doesnt give me advice she wants to actually tell me what to do, control my life. I think its part of her insecurity and maybe a little jealousy, but I don't think its on purpose it might be unconsciously that she feels that way. I think you should just tell your sister you know whats wrong and whats right and you wont mind taking an advice from her, but to not tell you what to do. To worry about her own issues and try to not tell her anything personal about you. Have your own space lock the door to your room and just be more conservative about your life.

It really doesn't sound the work of a loving sister, maybe a nosy, trouble-maker? You need to sniff around yourself, she can't be perfect, get something real good on her, and then threaten her with this new information..tell her either butt out or you are gonna drop the bomb on her! No one likes to be caught at their own game, but sometimes is the only way to get through to them. Let her know you are tired of her games, want to live your own life, and she should quit trying to ruin your relationship with your mother..fight fire ..with fire...Best of luck!

I am a big sister and im very protective of my younger siblings..but in your case it sounds more like she's trying to dig up dirt on you....sounds like there may be alittle jealousy involved...you say she has a fiance..so she must just be bored with her life and she's hoping to find some excitement in yours...you could play her game by setting up silly things for her to find...let your mom know that she's all in your biz and your gonna entertain her.... :)

If you aren't doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about. Talk to your mom about getting a lock for your room, but keep your mother's trust by making sure that she has access to a key and can come in if she needs to. Make sure your sister doesn't know about the key!
Tell your sister and her fiance to mind their own business. If her fiance gets pissy with you tell him that he needs to worry about his relationship with your sister instead of flirting with you. Bat your eyes and tell him sorry, but you just aren't interested (that'll tick him off AND get him to leave you be!). As long as you are doing the right thing you have nothing to worry about and nothing to hide.

i had the some problem. just keep all your personal things in a spot locked up or hidden. get a lock on your room door. when she asks you questions, dont tell her anything. tell her that your tired of her in your business and tired of her lying to mom about it. dont tell her anything... at all. if she asks you something... make up a smart a** answer. she'll stop after a while. just let her know that you really cant stand her being a nosie butt

You should start hiding your stuff. When my older sister was doing that I got all my stuff that I didnt want her to see and bought a safe put it all in there and locked it. They cant get in your buisness that way. Ot atleast hide your stuff that you dont want them to see. I did it and now she doesnt go through my stuff at all. They shouldnt be in your room in the first place.

go to planned parenthood get some brochures about abortion or something and when you get questioned by your mom tell her you found them in your sisters car and you were trying to protect her
