I'm just going to leave this board today before I blow a gasket. Usually I don't let the morons on here get to me that much but today...

Absolutely, in fact we believe it so well, the question is like asking us if there really is a vehicle that can transport people through the sky, or do we know for sure that 2 + 2 = 4 or any other question that has a simple answer.
Satan does not want you to ever think or believe in God. And he absolutely does not want you to believe in him. If you were to believe that there really was a Satan, then you would have to start asking yourself, well if Satan is real, then so must be God.
Satan will do anything to take a person away from what is the real truth. He is the king of all liars, master of deception. He can make all those things you mentioned seem true for awhile, he can make them come true and he will until he has your soul completely or get you messed up enough that you won't ever think about God.
God has supernatural powers, so does Satan. God is good and Satan is evil. God is Truth, Satan is everything against God's truth. Satan knows the Bible explicitly as he was there when it was being written, he witnessed everything that happened in it.
He wants you to do exactly what you are doing as you read this letter, shake your head and laugh at the corniness of the possibility of a Satan and how stupid someone is who can believe in such an idea.
I know because I was once there also, shaking my head at such an absurd idea. Until I found out Satan is not an idea, he is real.
Satan is like the poem about coccaine how it is so wonderful in the beginning and then once it has you hooked, it becomes the horror that it was all along, just that it had first come disguised as being good. That is Satan.

If they do then they must be retarded. Ouija boards, Tarot cards, crystals and things like that are just objects, they aren't evil! have seen people doing and saying some crazy things before. This one woman started yelling at her little son because he wanted to watch Harry Potter. She said "You put that down! Thats witch craft!" That woman must be a freaking nutcase!

Here is the thing. As a Christian I believe that God has everything we need to survive and thrive. I believe that Satan and his demons are out there taking any chance they can get to mislead you. They don't even have to do anything crazy to get you to go in the wrong direction. There are so many ways to live now that it is easy to live different from the Bible. So when you go to anything else but God, it just opens the doors for you to be mislead. When you go to God, he keeps you focused and on track. I don't believe the actual board, cards or Crystals are bad, but the mentality of the person using them. I don't believe that we should put power into objects. Satan hovers around waiting for any chance he can get to fool you.

I'm not sure that it takes over your mind, but bad things can come of it. Like with the tarot cards they say if you don't predict it with those cards it will never happen. The Ouija board gives a doorway(supposedly) for demons to enter this world.I don't think crystals are bad. I think they are pretty and make fine jewelry.

Hello Grim Jack,
That's a good question, however; I am not speaking from experience, but what I do believe is that when you play around with subjects like that you invite demonic spirits into your life.
Because- if people can see apparition (which are unexpected or unusual sight) and they are spirits- Why wouldn't demonic spirit be prevalent.
I believe that's what would make them take over your being is because they are demonic which is motivated by an inspired evil force.

Let me ask you a question.
If you leave your door to your house open while you sleep, can you say or know who or what will enter? It is the same with all the stuff you mentioned. Eph.6:12 explains that we are in a spiritual war. We should be very cautious about what we let into our minds. While it may not seem different to you, others will see a big difference in your appearance, attitude and health.
If you don't believe me, ask the author of the Bible. Or your pastor, preacher, or your spiritual teacher.

No they don't take over your mind, but they do allow access to your psyche by evil forces. It normally has little effect on a person until they try in later years to break away from occultish things and then they find how much control evil spiritis have over them. Then they start to talk about demonic possession. Do I honestly believe it? Yes because I have had encounters in that area and it is real.

I just looked that up! Which is good because I can just copy and paste. ;-)
As far as christians go, in some instances, yes...
Acts 16:16-18
16It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
17Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, "These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation."
18She continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!" And it came out at that very moment.
In the case of divination it is implied that this comes from the assistance of spirits.
Now if they take over your mind, I guess that is debatable. Nothing solid about that.
