they can eat them as long as they aren't processed and don't have stuff put on them. It isn't good for dogs to eat too much of these kinds of foods however. it can cause them to have stomach issues and can put them in a lot of pain. If you aren't surre about something you shouldn't do it anyway and then ask about it.

Grapes/raisins contain a toxin that can damage the kidneys
If you're going to feed him apples, make sure that there are no seeds. The seeds can cause gastrointestinal irritation, poor coordination, difficulty breathing, and even shock, coma, and death
I know that some nuts contain a toxin that disrupts the digestive and nervous system
Other than that, you'd have to ask your vet which fruits would be safe to feed your pet. Dogs are carnivores, not omnivores. Dogs ARE very adaptable, but just because they can survive on an omnivorous diet does not mean it is the best diet for them.

I give my dog fresh fruits as a treat on occasion. I would imagine that if the dried fruit isn't chemically dried, it wouldn't hurt as an occasional treat, but I wouldn't do it on a regular basis. Fresh veggies also make for tasty, but healthy treats. My dog loves carrots and green beans especially. Please do limit the amout you give though, because fruits and some veggies are very high in natural sugars, which aren't good for dogs in large amounts.
Also, as others have mentioned, grapes and raisins can be toxic, although the exact mechanism of toxicity is not yet known. There are also veggies that are not good, so please do some research first.

I feed my dog bits of apple and stuff. But he eats an all natural diet, so his belly is used to it and doesn't get a booty blow out...so if you want to feed your dog some fruit, only do a little bit at a time or you will give him runny bum. Commercial dog foods do NOT have enough nutrients for dogs, so people should be adding other food to their dogs food. Just do a Google search on what food is poision for dogs.

Dogs digest fruit differently then their regular food so you could be causing him lots of digestive problems. And btw, raisins are toxic to dogs.

Lizzie couldn't be more wrong! Please do not feed your dog fruit. Their digestive system is not set up for that. They are carnivorous. The natural sugars will also speed up tooth decay in K9s.

Raisins are toxic. I have also been told that cranberries can cause bladder stones in some dogs.
