Hey guys, have a question for you. I was standing in line at a store and leaning over the counter, when I noticed someone standing extremley close to me on my left side. I think his right side of his face brushed up against my hair, which kind of"jets" out at the sides, and when I looked I noticed he had some scabs and blood on his face. If that blood touched my hair, am I at risk of getting anything? Should I cut that part of my hair off, or simply was it? What is the blood was wet? What if it was dry?
Please help.
Thanks

I am very concerned about HIV and Hep C, so I want to make sure that, even if I wash my hair, the virsus will not still be in my hair. Thanks

i don't think you can get anything from him touching your hair. just make sure you wash it good and then blowdry it - the heat might help kill any germs that were left.

If you are thinking A.I.D.S or Hep. C.Certainly you will not have a remote chance of infection!
Don't go panicing or cutting your hair off.
The worst that it could be is he had a bad case of scabies. Get some shampoo treatment and a fine metal comb ,treat your hair and all will be fine.
I doubt that you even caught that, but the thought can get you scratching and feeling little critters running around your scalp!
Its a good thing to have in the medicine chest these days anyway!
Sorry I can't give you a brand as I don't know where you are and brands change country to country.

OK!!! this was a really disgusting thing to happen, but seriously NO you can't get any type of infection from his blood on you hair - hair is dead matter apart from the root so there is no way for it to carry disease into your body.. Give your hair a wash and stop worrying.

Next time someone steps into 'your space' either politely ask them to back off or give them an evil look and then step away from them.
