If you "reuse" something you use it again. Like if you take your grocery bag from the food store and use it to line a small trash can.

If you "recycle" something, you send it to a treatment center to be broken down and made into something else. Like if you recycle an aluminum can, they can melt it down and make a new can from the materials.

In recycling, something is broken down or cut up in some fashion and then made into something new. Reusing is just using something again for the same purpose without changing it.

Recycling is the last option we have before we dispose of something used, i.e. packaging or other item you no longer need, in doing so we stop that item going to landfill or incineration, thinking we have stopped pollution, HOWEVER, the process of transfer and reprocessing is also polluting!
Reuse, i.e. pass you down clothing/returnable bottles etc. is far better but this still uses energy in the process of transport, cleaning etc.
Reduce, is the only sane way forward, i.e. less packaging and a more sustainable lifestyle!

Recycling means you take plastic, metal, glass and paper to recycling plants where they are made into something different(example..paper becomes a newspaper)and reusing means you use your hings again, if possible(example..a water bottle can be use for a couple more times before you throw it out)

recycling iswhen some thing is broken down to its rawest forms (plastic metal wood etc.) and made into other things (toilet paper)
but reusing is simple getting somthing old or something you don't use much and using it for its old purpose or using it for something new

and remember reduce reuse and recycle!

recycling: you have a peanut butter jar made of glass; you throw it away; the glass company gets it melts it and ]turns it in to perhaps a glass figurine.

re-using: when the peanut butter is finished, you use the glass jar as a storage for coins.

i hope i helped.
