My daughter's hair is hard to manage. She hates wearing it up, she wants it down all the time. The problem is that it is frizzy. I have tried mousse and spray gel, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Deep conditioning treatments!

Or go to a salon and get a very gentle relaxer.

Frizzy hair can be the result of a couple things. Things to keep in check are:

- use a good conditioner on her hair, and make sure you rinse it very well
- try to avoid blow drying it
- make sure that there is no split ends or breakage

You can also invest in something called smoothing cerum, this will help to tame the hair.
Good luck! : )

mousse and gel will just make her hair greasy and more frizzy. at drug stores you can buy anti-frizz spray that can help frizzy hair, but the best thing you could use is conditioner...most five-year olds don't condition their hair unless they really need it. try putting conditioner in her hair, it will soften and smooth it out and hopefully stop some of the frizz.

most any hair care place has some kind of frizz control and do you condition her hair? because thats probably why....

were do you get the idea that moose and gel will defrizz her hair? its just going to make it worse and if nothing works make her wear her hair up shes 5 you are her mother

Dove intense moisture shampoo/conditioner
Herbal Essences hello hydration shampoo/conditioner
Biolage ultra hydrating balm sold in salons but worth it.
I use all of these and love it.
