As I stated in your last rant of this topic just a few hours ago...

I'm not debating the God angle here, but I'm curious as to why you think that these events you describe are "flaws". Creation is born out of destruction. Look at the "Big Bang" for example. Maybe a comet destroyed the dinosaurs, but if it hadn't, would humans have evolved to be the dominate life form on the planet? A hurricane may destroy something today but who know what effect it will have had over a thousand or a million years?

God created the world to be perfect way back in the beginning, but then us humans ruined everything by being stupid. Ever since then people have done things wrong, and the world is becoming more and more corrupt. That's why people get sick even if they haven't done anything. And people hate other people because of their feelings, not because of anything God did. To answer your question a/b the natural disasters. He is a mighty loving God, but He doesn't want to hurt people or cause harm on anyone. I think they are just aspects of like that people accuse God of doing.

Our peace comes from God, not people and what the Earth has to offer.

Stop looking in the wrong places for it.

God put us on the earth to take authority over it and glorify him. Earth was perfect until we screwed it up.

We grow through pain. We triumph when we endure. We will have troubles but through Christ, who has overcome the world, we will come out on top.

Did you grow up without a scratch?

Could YOU design Earth?
Could it happen by random chance? All this life? Our very ability to debate it?

The Earth was designed by God but he isn't regulating the climate like was done in Eden.

Man was put here as punishment for doing things his own way. So, let's see how man plays God since man didn't like letting God play God and man just play Man.

Well, my guess is because when God feels that he needs to start over on a place, he wipes it out with a natural disaster. Life is like a notebook. When God wants something done, he writes in it. If he doesn't like it, he erases it, and re-writes it.

well as u know there are people that dont believe in god, so the hurricanes and all the earthquakes u see are a sign to those people who dont believe that he exists. its also to show us the strength of god. well im a muslim and i believe that god is doing this to wake people up from the dream and distractions that they go through daily life and to remind them that hes still here and watching over them. and to the people that follow god and follow what he demanded of them then they will stay strong through all of this and hold on to their faiths. this is all tests to see who deserves to go to heaven.

Yeah, it's almost like "god" wanted people to face challenges and to be able to learn and grow....

I think we would be able to learn much more from this life if we could just sit on our couch all day and watch TV until we die of old age. Don't you?
