i have been seeing this guy for almost a year and i have found through his email and text messages that he is writting this girl and constantly complimenting her and telling her to send him pics of her. and that he misses her. and when i asked him about it he said she is an ex of one of his best friends. and that his best freind wanted to know how she was doing and that he is just being nice because he thinks she wants to hear thoose things from him. so what should i do/

That's messed up. I think you should talk to him about it and ask him what he would think if you were doing that.

Flirting is fine! But what you're describing isn't really flirting. I think people get confused as to the differences between "friendship", "pursuing", and "flirting". Flirting, in a broad sense, let's say, is what you do when you like someone, but don't really know them yet. Pursuing is one road it can go down. Friendship is the other, which kindof winds around the pursuing road most of the time as well.
What type of guy is he? Does he just like making people feel good? Some people ARE prone to complimenting others often if they feel they need a lift; others, well, will only compliment if they want something. And there are those in between.
Which is he?
I'm sure you have your answer already if you know which.
But as I always say - talk to him about it. If it isn't resolved, you haven't talked enough.

NO IT IS NOT OKAY TO FLIRT WHILE YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP!!!!! If he is flirting with another girl, and you confront him about it and he denies it, then you need to kick him to the curb. He is supposed to be thinking about you and only you. This is definitely someone who isn't ready for a real relationship, or they haven't grown up yet, one of the two. You deserve someone better than that. You need to find yourself a person who isn't going to mess around on you and someone that will truly love you. Go find yourself someone different.

I would deffinately say this is suspicous behavior and not at all okay. Guys ask for pictures if they want they girl and if he's complimenting her...he's letting her know he's interested in a sublte way. I don't mean to freak you out or anything, but i think he's up to something. Talk to him about it and be careful!

I think u should just tell him u dont like what he's doing becuase he sounds like he is trying 2 get with her n is being bored w/u. Just tell him how u feel. He should understand since ya bein goin out for almost a year by now ya should at least develop trust for one another.
