i have alwayz shaved but now the hair has become very thick and i am scared of the pain

It kills! I still cannot believe I paid someone $80 to torture me for an hour. Stick to shaving! I highly recommend Edge Active Care Revitalizing shave cream - it's for men, but it works REALLY well for that 'area'.

Yes, it is awfully painful. However, once you do it, you will always want to continue doing it. Especially if you get a brazillian wax. (not sure of the spelling).
If you think you cannot handle the pain, go to a salon. They will use special products and make the pain less. Also you can try holding a cushion or talk on the phone to try and distract you from the pain
Stop shaving. It makes the hair grow black and thick. With waxing, the hair becomes smoother, and softer.

well if you can stop your breath for 2 seconds and pull the wax strip and then take deep breaths.. not at all painful. Infact shaving makes the area black.
Trust me if not that bad... if you think you want to feel good for days. unlike shaving the hair are back in two days.

If u r scared of shaving - pain, then sweetie , u will faint with the waxing-pain!!
Leave it alone!!! Its not worth the pain and swelling that follows it.

ill give you a test- get some tweezers and pull out a hair down there-
waxing pulls out about 6x more hair than w/ tweezers and it hurts like hell!
Just remember don't go to a tanning booth after or else

Wash with shampoo before waxing and there will be no pain during waxing

If the hair isthick 'there' - dont even think of waxing.
Use a cream like FEM etc...to get rid of it completely.
