I have something on the right side of my left thumb. it's purple and red and its a bump on my skin that hurts a bit wheni touch it. It looks like a little hematoma on the skin but it looks like there is somethign inside liek coagulated blood. its about 1 cm wide. i fell off my biek today bu ti didnt think anything would have happened to small on my hand. ive never seen anything like it...what is it?

you have a blood blister. dont pop it because you can get an infection. it will heal on its own but it will take a while. they are very common if you hurt yourslef, ie: fall of your bike or in my case getting your skin pinched with pliers! it will go away and it might hurt a little. happy healing!

A blood blister which is very commom from a pinch. Just put a bandaid on it if you want and it will heal on its own.

You could have smashed it on something and not realized it or you bitten by some type of insect like a spider. You shoud get it checked out.

did you pinch you hand or hit it against something?it sounds like a blood-blister
