I have been talking to this guy online he seemed so sweet in the begining. We talked online for about 2 weeks. He told me he is still having to deal with his ex with whom he broke up with 2 years ago. There in some kind of lawsuit, long story. Anyway I offerd to give him my number twice he would never give me a direct answer. I figured he must be playing games with me. Because he would go 2 days without emailing or iming. So almost a week has passed by now and I just blew him off. I was not going to sit around and wait form him. Besides I think he still has feeling for his ex. Just now he messaged me telling me he has been working and has been sick and he gave me his number. To tell you the truth I have been talking to a new guy. What would you do give the first guy you talk to a second chance or just continue to pursue the other I have just been recently talking to?

Give your new a guy a chance, chances the other guy is still seeing his ex. Besides Im sure he wasn't that busy to give you a little email or im saying his sick or tied and he'll catch up with you when he can. Sounds fishy to me. I say go for the new guy.

I don't like the actions of the first guy, if he's never apologized or explained his behavior, he doesn't feel that close to you to want to explain himself and keep you interested. He's waiting to see if you'll show interest first. That's why he's waited and given you his number. He sounds insecure.

You should give the second guy a try, get to know him.

Personally, when you're talking online, you're not "involved" as you normally would with people in person. So, you could talk to both if you feel you'd like to compare and then decide.

Have fun!

OK - first of all, this guy could be 80 years old for all you know and married. Many many people create an online persona for a little mental boom boom. Him putting you off, never giving you straight answers and bringing up his "ex" are just ways to keep you from realizing his name is really Bert Weinerkoff from Duluth who is really 12 yrs old with a booger collection and a stack of Hentai porn under his twin bed with spiderman sheets. Girl, you really should skip meeting men via the internet.

Go with the recent guy you are talking to.

to tell you the truth I wouldn't deal with anyone who still has contact with their ex. I just dont feel comfortable. And in your case it has been 2 years for him and on top of that there is a lawsuit. uh huh that is a red flag girl. your life might just become a rollercoaster if you choose the first guy.

Pursue the 2nd guy - the first guy obviously has some baggage and probably is too consumed with his lawsuit and you might be right - he may still have feelings for his Ex.
In my opinion, he probably just has too many issues, too much baggage and if were really sincerely interested in pursuing you, he would have done it by now.
Good Luck with the new guy!

Well it's not like you've known him long enough to know if he is b s-ing u or not. Talk to him more and use your women's intuition. There is nothing wrong with talking and getting to know someone. Only when you decide that you wanna be monogamous with someone and you are still chatting it up with someone else is when it becomes a problem.

Maybe he was really sick..it is winter yah know. Don't trip off of it. As women we read way to much into every single situation...it literally drives us insane because we play guessing games and assuming games too much.

First off, don't be the aggressive one. The guys really need to be the persuers. Relationships based on the female being the aggressor rarely turn out anyway.
Life is an adventure, why persue this guy anyway?
Let the next one persue you. It's better for everyone that way.

To be honest if has a girlfriend, ex whatever i would stay away from him if i was u. There's plenty more guys out their and ask yourself this........what are your chances with him? do you really know for sure whether he is having problems with his ex? Its a situation you really don't want to be getting yourself in you going to get hurt. But if you really do persuit this contact just step back and don't let yourself get in to deep not just yet anyway take things slowly its only been 2 weeks.
Take Care and good luck with whatever you do decide.

A lawsuit involving his ex that's been running for 2 years?

This guy is giving me the willies. He could be dangerous. He could be stalking her. Do NOT give him your number. Don't email, im or contact him in any way again.

Danger! Danger! Danger!

I think that would be ok to just talk to him. There is nothing wrong with that. And he is the one that got back into contact with you, so he must be interested. Give him a shot, you never know.
