It could just be something that your dog ate. But if your vet said your dogs okay for now than I would just wait it out a couple of days, and if your dog is still vomiting then I would go back to the vets. Just make sure she's drinking plenty so she doesn't get dehydrated. Good Luck with everything :)

Watch your dog. Is it eating grass? Seriously. Dogs consume grass in order to vomit. See a different vet. Dogs tend to do this when they have parasties or worms. Take your dog to a different vet to get a proper checkup

I would really keep an eye on her and if she gets worse or keeps vomiting you should see another vet. Did they take xrays because some times they swallow things that get stuck in their digestive tracks. If you are still worried see someone else don't take any chances.

root_beer it sounds like to me your gut is telling you something is wrong with his assessment of your dog's problem. Here is how to tell if he is not being straight with you or if he is going down hill in his abilties, call and ask him for a referral to another vet for a second opinion, if he becomes defensive then that will comfirm that your gut instinct is right and CALL ANOTHER VET IMMEDIATELY! Tell them what is the matter with your baby and what your vet said, they will more than likely have you come in immediately so that they can examine your dog themselves. I have experience in having a bad feeling about being given the wrong info from a vet and how to find out the TRUTH. if you want me to tell you of my experience please e-mail me at happy2luvk9s@yahoo.com. Good luck but PLEASE take my advice as it comes from experience.

My dog Vomits when he has cheese. He has diahrea when he has milk - It appears that dairy products cause him problems.
I guess you should consult another vet if you feel the diagnosis is wrong.

Take her to another vet.
Some signs for concern are:
excessive vomitting
not eating or drinking (dehydration can happen)
being lethargic
Also, is your dog up to date on its vaccinations?
My dog threw up 4 times the other night and they gave him an injection of fluids so he didn't get dehydrated. I would say get a second opinion.

she may ust engorge herself when she eats... thus making her vomit. But never take the health of your dog lightly. You know her better than anyone, so if your worried get a second opinion.

If your dog doesnt have a Temp. its your dog food some dogs just like some people have sensitive tummys. We feed our dogs Nutro Max Dog food and they have a lot of different food. It cost more than some dog food but its worth it.
