You can call the IRS and they will send you copies. I did it!

The best way is to contact your employers from the 5 year period and ask for a copy for the year in question.. They are required by law to keep their employment records and W-2 copies on file and can provide them up to 7 years back with no problems.

Just contact the companies that you worked for. They will have them sent to you. You may have to talk to their HR departments and it is much faster to get them this way rather than dealing with the IRS.
