Let's face it Iraq is a disaster. Over 700,000 innocent Iraqis have been slaughtered. 3,000 US (mainly poor working class White/Hispanic and Afro American) soldiers have needlesly lost their lives, and for what? The war in Iraq was based on lies. There were no WMD's.A cunning few have profited such as Cheney to the tune of $1Billion in Iraqi/Haliburton contracts. while their children party on in Palm Beach, and will never see the bloodbath that is Basra today. Yet today Iraq is in a worse mess today than it was 3 years ago. There's a Civil War, total anarchy, mass unemployment, yet our dimwit President sends in a 'Surge of 20,00 troops' It's total madness, do you agree?

To 'mm1aimikg' ...what a weirdo, and weirdo name! I do NOT watch or listen to the 'Superficial Media' as you refer to them. I have been to iraq and witnessed with my own eyes the bloodbath, the chaos, the civil war. Iraq is a total mess. In a state of civil war. Unemploymet has never been higher, there is little or no electricity, or clean water. We are thieveing their oil. This is more about thieving the spoils of war than WMD's. the 'Current form of Governemnt' as yu call them are a bunch of Bush imposed puppets whom the Iraqis despise and who have no power whatsoever and you know it!. Iraq is in chaos. Total Anarch, Civil war, it's worse than Vietnam ever was, and the poor the working class Americans are dying for the greed of the few Right Wing Republican Warhawks, meanwhile the Warhawk's children attend the cocktail parties in Palm Beach and Houston while out relative and neighbours return home in body bads in the dead of night because out cowardly president is so ashamed.

Sounds like you need to look beyond the superficial information the news media gives you had learn what is going on in Iraq.

There is no 'anarchy.' There is no 'bloodbath' in Basra. Unemployment is less than half the rate it was before the war. In fact the Iraqi economy is a huge US success story (which is why you probably know nothing about it).

70% of the Iraqi people voted for their current form of government and their political leadership. And you want to turn them over to the 2% who are terrorists.

Many of the Iraqis that have been killed were killed by the terrorists. We have not had enough troops in the area to protect the people so they can train and build their own forces.

If we leave Iraq now the whole of the Middle east will fall into term oil and the terrorists will follow us home and the 100s of 1000s of dead will be Americans

And if the American troops leave do you think the Iraqis will suddenly stop killing each other?

I'd guess that Americans have killed less than 10% of the total number of dead Iraqis, maybe even less than that. The Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian terrorists are the ones doing most of the killing.

This is what we voted for on Nov 7th Ken, however 'the decider' has decided to put his middle finger up to us. Now to back up your assertion looak at this;

Democratic Senator Joseph Biden, the chairman of the influential Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said he thought Mr Bush's strategy was a "tragic mistake".
