I have general anxiety disorder which includes both social anxiety disorder and stress anxiety disorder. I have an intense fear of talking on the telephone. I never answer my phone; I always let it go to voicemail and even when it's family, it takes me days to work up the courage to call back. I have people I adore with all my heart who I just can't call back because I hate the phone so much. I 100% prefer emailing because of this. At work, I leave my return phone calls to the afternoon and collect every scrap of paper and information on the issue and rehearse what I am going to say so I am completely ready before returning the call because I am so terrified of the phone. They have tried to make me do backup for the receptionist and I just go into panic mode. It's so stupid and I hate it because people don't understand; he!! I don't understand, but it just is what it is. I take medication, which helps, but it doesn't fix it. The only thing that one can do is just force yourself to do it, kicking and screaming silently in your head all the way because you have to do it.

Yep, there is. It's a social phobia and there are things you can do to lessen the effects on your life such as drugs that prevent anxiety and finding other ways to communicate with people such as text messages and email. Those generally aren't as threatening. By combining therapies you should be able to lead a pretty normal life.
A psychiatrist will be able to help.

Are you afraid of the talking? or the dirty phone?
Did anyone see that show on the germs found in hotels. There were more on the phone than in the bathroom! I wouldn't talk on those phone or public phones either!

I surely have a 2 a million/2 year previous son, and that i do no longer even understand what the state of this funds pushed society would be like with tips from the time he can understand issues like that. This international revolves around the corporate dollar. it isn't the mummy and dad keep on the corner that has pushed greed to the front of society. that's the firms constantly desiring further and extra and greater income. what number billions in income is sufficient? whilst a business corporation makes 10 billion in income, does it relatively ought to try for 15 billion interior the subsequent year. Do they actually ought to decrease jobs and hike up the fees to maintain one hundred fifty shareholders in a room chuffed? i think of no longer, notwithstanding it relatively does not remember what you and that i think of, because of the fact we've not got any voice that is heard with tips from the firms, and that they does no longer hear besides. the government (makes billions on company taxes) has created an excellent sort of rules to guard firms, and an excellent sort of greater, that get exploited with tips from firms, that each and every thing they do is Technically criminal. in spite of the undeniable fact that it destroys society, places human beings on the line, creates greater injury than good on any given day. no one is prepared to stand up and cease them. If i ought to, i might. yet i may well be considered a crackpot, and thrown in detention center probable. So I sit down with tips from and watch the international fall apart, and need that in keeping with threat sometime all and sundry gets bored to death of being pushed around with tips from firms. ought to it relatively value $30 a month in monetary organisation costs to have a monetary organisation account? to furnish somebody YOUR funds that they then use to make themselves greater funds, and might charge YOU FOR IT! Banks make 12 billion in income each year, with the money we provide them to hold directly to. i do no longer bear in mind ever signing something that announces the monetary organisation can use a million penny of my funds for their personl income, and yet they do and that they do no longer even ought to ask...and in spite of Pathetic activity they furnish ought to gather for a hundred years and nonetheless does no longer hide a million years properly worth of monetary organisation value's. something relatively desires to be finished...
