My 10 year daughter has had some dryness and irritation around the mouth. It is now turning dark and looks like a mustache over her upper lip and under her bottom lip. Has anyone ever heard of this?

In addition to/or carmex or chapstick, burts bee works well. Also good old Vaseline at night. The area still needs to be able to breathe so it does not get infected, so just a thin coating while she sleeps, but Vaseline is great for moisturizing dry irritated skin.

My Dear friend,
The best product ever is a natural product and is called cocoa butter or "manteiga de cacau". It has no chemicals added, is natural, it moist and protect, has a great taste, flavor and smell.
You will find millions in form of lipsticks in Brazil. It will be difficult to find in the jungle of artificial filled products in the US market. In Brazil they still have super natural products, real good ones and best of all they work, as a father I recommend. I hope she gets better.

Although I have never heard of this, try some medicated grease called carmex. It comes in a small jar or tube like blistex, but it is carmex. It gives your skin a tingling sensation, but it will have your skin as soft as a baby's bottom.

Use chapstick it will get better, put some lotion on here face it happened to me when i was a kid it will clear up.
