That depends. Are you:
(1) trying to get back with your Ex? If so, try Colvin Run.
(2) still pissed about the break-up? If so, try KFC

I'd pick Coppi's, an organic Italian restaurant up on U st. Lots of reasons:
1) sharing is romantic, and it's easy to share here. Get a salad and a pizza. They even have hug bottles of beer you can share.
2) The parking up on U st is pretty easy, so no frustration there
3) Although it's a very good restaurant, you can get a meal at a reasonable price if you don't overdo the expensive drinks
4) Everything is DELICIOUS
5) It's not a chain - it's unique
6) the atmosphere is cozy

There's a place in Falls Church called "2941".
It's the best DC area restaurant I've been to.
(used to live near there, too).
