Yes, it does. Not only would our economy crash, but you wouldn't be able to afford to get to work, or the groceries at the store because their prices would be so high due to the cost of shipping...the cost of heating our homes would skyrocket... think about it... Not to mention, the "cut and run" thing doesn't work out so great. What do you think people would really think if Bush said, okay, let's send our troops home and leave the Iraqi people with no resources for rebuilding. The bleeding hearts talked about the poor Iraqi people and how they hated us being there and now that they need our help to rebuild, you want to leave??? Another terrorist dictator would take over in seconds and another attack on America would be under way. They can't attack us alone true, but do you know how many other spineless countries are willing to fund their military so the Iraqis can do it for them? Why don't you do a little research. The ridiculous opinions of others are spinning questions that make no sense.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. They might attack us in some kind of way, and they might not. There is no certainty in war except that people will die, that's about it. I think its more of a moral issue now. I mean we have gone into their country promising the citizens a better life and then we just leave, forgetting the mess we made. I dint think its possible to just leave and do nothing. On the other hand these people have been fighting for centuries and thats just how their country works and its proposturous to try to make them have a democratc system, centries of history arnt going to just disappear. So there it is both side...only time will tell.......

It is not IRAQ the problem if the USA leaves , it is the vacuum left in it' wake for extremist forces taking advantage of a weak government and putting themselves into power creating a worse scenario , like it happened in IRAN and AFGANISTAN and other places .

I think you ask a good question.
The simple answer is: they won't. Now, you hear all kinds of dire predictions if we leave Iraq without achieving "victory", but it's all nonsense.
During the Vietnam war all sorts of horrible, dire things were going to happen if we didn't win in Vietnam. They didn't.

Iraq would be nothing more than a giant terrorist training camp and staging area for Iranian attack on Israel.

IMO the only advantage of being in Iraq is to gather intelligence, i.e, by being in the Middle East. This could be accomplished elswhere (Israel, e.g.).
We should leave.

not sure if you have noticed, but in the middle eastern countries, there is a thing going around called terrorism. What do you think we are fighting now? Does 9/11 ring any bells?

Well we left them alone during the 90's, and they attacked us on 9/11. So who knows; most of Europe has wimped out and they are still being attacked.
We haven't been attacked since, and terrorist are being killed everyday.
Sounds good to me.
