I just had root canals done a few months ago. Each one cost me $900.00 dollars not including the crown. I started looking around for some kind of help since we cant afford dental insurance.
There is an amazing company that saves you up to 80% on your dental needs. It only costs $11.95 for an individual a month.
You also get Free Prescription, Free Vision and Free Chiropractic Care.
I would recommend checking them out if you can't afford dental insurance.

Different insurance companies have different prices as well as what they cover. Check with your human resources/office manager for details on what your policy covers and cost. Most of them cover the root canal therapy at 80% - 100%. It's the cap they have on your coverage for the year. In other words, what they allow you to spend, which for some can be around 1000.00 and the higher end is 1500.00. Most all cover annual x rays, two cleanings per year, preventative care. It's the high dollar procedures like root canals, crowns and surgery that cost you more. Good luck!
