It really depends on the periodontists that you choose to have perform the procedure. I have found that some of the best are the most expensive and some of the least expensive are just as good of doctors, and vise versa. It really depends on your wallet, your comfort level with the doctor and his staff and his reputation as a dental professional. You always have the option to check around and compare prices, even go for an initial consult. I wouldn't go to the cheaper one just because they are the least expensive. Don't compromise quality for cost. After all, it is your dental health that is of the utmost concern. Usually the receptionist can give you a break down on approximate cost for the procedure. Your dentist may even have an idea of what he charges since he probably refers to him/her all the time. Good luck!
