Heres some information I found about Soya.
Soya is certainly not bad for you. The diets followed by people living in many far eastern countries contain sizeable amounts of soya and these nations have considerably lower levels of cancer and heart disease than their western counterparts.
Indeed, soya has actually been shown to contain nutrients that have a positive effect on both cholesterol and the potential cancer creating toxins in our bodies.
Soya is also an excellent source of protein and many essential vitamins and minerals.
Studies have shown that soya's active ingredients can help correct hormones that have moved out of balance. Indeed, there has not been a single reported case of soya having an adverse affect on a woman's hormones.
Heres what it says about cows milk
The butterfat of commercial milk is homogenized, subjecting it to rancidity. Even worse, butterfat may be removed altogether. Skim milk is sold as a health food, but the truth is that butter-fat is in milk for a reason.
Without it the body cannot absorb and utilize the vitamins and minerals in the water fraction of the milk. Along with valuable trace minerals and short chain fatty acids, butterfat is America's best source of preformed vitamin A.
Milk and refined sugar make two of the largest contributions to food induced ill health in our country. That may seem like an overly harsh statement, but when one examines the evidence, this is a reasonable conclusion.
The recent approval by the FDA of the use of BGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) by dairy farmers to increase their milk production only worsens the already sad picture.
BGH causes an increase in an insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) in the milk of treated cows. IGF-1 survives milk pasteurization and human intestinal digestion. It can be directly absorbed into the human bloodstream, particularly in infants.
It is highly likely that IGF-1 promotes the transformation of human breast cells to cancerous forms. IGF-1 is also a growth factor for already cancerous breast and colon cancer cells, promoting their progression and invasiveness.
It is also possible for us to absorb the BGH directly from the milk. This will cause further IGF-1 production by our own cells.
Prior to BGH, 38%of milk sampled nationally was already contaminated by illegal residues of antibiotics and animal drugs. This will only increase with the use of BGH. One can only wonder what the long term complications will be for drinking milk that has a 50% chance it is contaminated with antibiotics.
There is also a problem with a protein enzyme called xanthine oxidase which is in cow's milk. Normally, proteins are broken down once you digest them.
Cows' milk is rich in phosphorous which can combine with calcium -- and can prevent you from absorbing the calcium in milk. The milk protein also accelerates calcium excretion from the blood through the kidneys.
Cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been well documented as a cause in diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia, skin rashes, atherosclerosis, and acne.
It is the primary cause of recurrent ear infections in children. It has also been linked to insulin dependent diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, and leukemia.
SO I WILL LET YOU MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP!!!!!

I'm not sure how much of what Ron J is saying is scare mongering as many pulses (dried kidney beans, black eye beans are poisonous if not cooked properly).
However getting back to your question my answer would be that Soya milk, along with rice milk and oat milk are all better for you if calcium has been added to same, if you suffer from sinus, catarrh and a number of other complaints.
Cows milk is dairy and therefore not helpful in some health problems, it is also said that it has artificial oestrogen contained in , could quite well be the reason we have so many gay men ! Not to mention sterility in men and women.
Soya on the other hand has natural plant oestrogen that is very good for us women and the body can easily use and get rid of excess not required, unlike artificial oestrogen which the body can't get rid of and is known to cause Cancer.
By the way at all costs avoid Genetically Modified Soya.
Non GM is available in milk and the dried bean through the health food shop, Non GM milk is readily available from Tescos too.

Soya milk is better for you if you have more control in the manufacturing process. Below is a recipe to make your own and have some leftovers for other recipes. Enjoy! Food doesn't have to be so scary if you look a little further.
A home recipe for those who want to try making their own. You will need a blender, cheese cloth, a tall pot, clean containers, heavy clean rubber gloves, water, and soybeans. Rinse the dry soybeans clean, cover with water and soak overnight (8-12 hours). Put 3 cups of water and one cup of dry soybeans in the blender, and grind until it is a little rougher than drip coffee grinds. Dump into a tall pot. Repeat with the desired quantity in the same ratio of dry beans to water. Be sure that the ground mix is only a third of the height of the pot, or it will get messy.
Note: It is very important that there is no oil residue in the blender, containers, or pots whatsoever. Even a small trace of oil will cause many soy proteins to precipitate out of solution, rendering your efforts futile.
Boil the pot, while stirring. Once boiling, enzymatic deactivation from the soybeans will cause severe foaming to occur, and the pot will bubble up rapidly. Cut the heat and stir the bubbles down, and increase the heat again. Repeat multiple times causing the solution to bubble up, and stirring it down. After about 20 minutes the solution will cease foaming, so no more bubbles will be created. This indicates the undesirable tasting enzymes are gone, so for best taste always boil until the solution stops gassing off. At this point, strain the mix through the cheesecloth into the containers. The solids should be squeezed in the cheesecloth to get the most milk. Wear the thick gloves while straining, the soy solids will be very hot. The residual solids are called okara, and can be used in soyburgers, or as a meat-substitute additive to things like pasta sauce. The soy milk containers should be refrigerated ASAP, they will last 2-3 weeks.
Alternately, to make maximal use of the entire soy beans: Soak beans for at least 5 hours and then cook overnight (at least 4 hours) in a slow-cooker (crockpot). Do not fill the pot more than halfway for one batch. In the morning, the beans should have turned to a slightly darker (mustard-like) color. Then blend in blender with (at least) 3-5 cups of water for each cup of soybeans. Filter the solution

I have read quite a bit lately about how soy products should not be consumed in large quantities because it can affect the reproductive organs of women.
Personally I don't think many dairy products are that "good for you". Calcium is accessible by other means. There is a lot of fat in dairy. It causes headaches, many allergies, etc.

If you are female, definitely. Soya milk has chemicals that mimic Oestrogen and helps women stay healthy for longer.
Not so good for men, as it causes reduction in penis size, reduction in sperm counts, testosterone production and if lots is drunk, can cause the growth of breast tissues.
Apparently it can also cause problems with hypothyroidism and may cause problems if heated in aluminium pans.

"Sorry to disagree but soy is a detriment to all people who have hypothyroidism. Please go to this site and read all about the soybean. It is: thedoctorwithin.com You need to type 'the' it is part of the URL. Then click on chapters to the left, scroll down to A magic bean and you will learn all about this deadly non-food item. One of the things in the article states that the next to the last step before the final processing of soybeans is to wash them with Drano-yes that's right Drano which is used to clean out your drains in your sinks. Just because some doctor or anyone else tells you this is good for you-look it up yourself. You will be shocked at what you find as I was from doing a Google search and putting in dangers of soy, toxins in soy. It is unbelievable. Also go to the above site - very informative."

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/iKiVT
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
