No, absolutley not. We have no reason whatsoever to remove eyeballs, and that would be excess and unneccessary multilation to the body, so definitely not!

No the removal of the eyeballs would cause extra work to be done to prep the body for funeral...............yes eye caps are used which have little perforations that hold the eye lids shut......never sew them shut maybe super glue but never sew.

I always thought they put plastic cups over them to keep the shape and then sewed the eyelids shut.
