Well for one thing, If I ran a day home I would not leave $240 earrings anywhere where children could reach them. Children are naturally curious and no matter how well behaved, they will get into things. If I were to put my child into a day home, I would expect that the environment would be totally childproof. That means they cannot get into personal belongings that are expensive. It seems that these earrings were easily accessible and why wouldn't a child not touch them? I would not want to pay for those earrings because they shouldn't have been anywhere near children and they are so expensive. So yes, I would take my children elsewhere. I think it is unfair of you to expect her to pay for them because you left them out. It was your mistake, not the child's.

I agree with the rest, it's your fault. If you can't even spell properly, what makes you such a great babysitter? I am sorry I don't want my child learning from someone who uses slang instead of proper english! Tell the mother if she wants a "great" babysitter she can bring her kids to me! I don't have $240 ear rings and I am smart enough to know to baby proof my house when little ones are around! EDIT: I just read some of your other question and I would NEVER leave my child with you! You cannot possibly be serious when you say you are a "great" babysitter!

well I hate to sound harsh but as the babysitter I would think you would know not to leave something so expensive out around children. Since they(the children) are in your care you are obligated to make sure stuff like that does not happen..Sorry!!

How did we get it wrong if you didnt supply all the information? Was it a quiz? Sorry..but I would not leave my child with you, you are playing childish games online.
Since you were in your home and left your personal things out, that is your problem. It is up to you to keep things out of reach of children in your own home.
