Typically the temperature ranges anywhere from about 0 Deg F to just about 100 Deg F. And sometimes is sunny, but then other times it has rained, sleeted and even snowed. Once thing is for sure, it typically will be very dark at night if you turn the lights off.

Regards

It can be 80 and sunny or 20 with a 40 mph wind, especially in teh city between the buildings, that's why we call weather forecasters "weather guessers". It literally depends on whether storm systems or fairweather highs are moving up the coast or eastwards from the Great Lakes region, and how these two main weather systems meet up, three days is the best advance prediction with accuracy you will get. That's why they have a concern over hurricanes hitting NYC/Long Island, they will only have 48-24 hour advance notice if one is heading at NYC. So if trying to figure what to wear, pack for dry, cold, wet, and sunny. Normally in April it will be warm in the middle of the day but still cold at night.

Every heard the saying, "April showers bring May flowers?" Its generally true that we tend to get a lot of rain in April in NYC. (I'm a lifelong NYC resident) However, NYC weather is unpredictable at times. It may be super warm on a few days here and there, but generally you will need a jacket. It will be brisk in the morning and at night, but you might be able to walk around in a t-shirt during the daytime on a nice day.

Very warm!! There is usually blossoms on Flowering crab apple trees. I love New York in the because the snow is melted and it is lovely to walk around in the city. Once in a while they have a huge snow storm but I think that this year they won't get any snow in April. I think that you will like it there in April!

Like pretty much all of the northeast - unpredictable! It could be 30 degrees and sleeting, or 65 degrees and clear as a bell.

Generally warm but weather can be unpredictable, have you thought of asking a travel agent in a general sense or googling it?
