this would mean that he likes you because i think that a guy would not take time out of the day to talk to someone else on the phone if he doesnt like that person. i like a girl now and i talk to her on the phone so that we can get to know each other. if i dint like her i would just talk to her if i were to see her at places i wouldnt call her.
point is that this guy of yours likes you a lot. (unless hes one of those who likes to mess with other girls, man i hate them. i could never be like that.)
anyway he does like you, do you?

It must mean that he cares for you more than a friend but does not know how to tell you or maybe he is scared to lose you as a friend. You should break the ice and talk about it first.

...hmmm...did it ever cros you min d that he MAYBE INTERESTED IN YOU!!!...if you like him too you can take a chance and go for it,ask him out on a date or something just show him that you care about him too...and if you dont like how hes treating you just ask him to stoip being so gentle...
