This has happened before. I changed the ink cartridges and it worked. This time after changing the cartridges again, it's not working. Why?

I'm using the Epson Stylus CX6600. Whenever I try to use it for printing or scanning, I keep getting a messsage "it is being used by another application" though it is not in use or being requested for use. Why is this?

hey this is scary, I had he exact same thing.. i used the on line help that Epsom have.. i don't know if it will work for you but here is what i did and it worked on mine.

right click on "my computer" and then click on "properties"
click on the "hardware" tab and then click on "device manager" tab
check down the list for your scanner (mine had a yellow question mark next to it) right click on the scanner and then click on update driver... as i said it worked for me, I'll keep my fingers crossed it works on yours..


If you get no further help on this then try Epson's e-Talk - you get to chat with a Epson helpdesk/techi person on line. A great service from Epson.. I've got a feeling though that it is only active Monday to Friday 9 - 5
