A girl (25 yrs. old) and I (25 yrs. old) met through jdate.com. We had two very good dates. She called me back to his response for a third date. We talked, set things up and she mentions how she really would like to see me again but feel they still have a lot to learn about each other. She emphasizes alot...is this bad?
By a third date, should some semblance of a romantic relationship be developing? I did give her a short kiss on the lips just before we left last time.
Does it sound like she's not really interested in a relationship at all and yet she's using words that sound like she is? For instance, she said, "See, I have to be honest. I think we still have a lot to learn about each other. But, I'd really like to see you again." Could this mean as friends?

Sounds to me like she is being careful. Good for her. Try talking more vlountarily about yourself and you past to gain her trust. Trust should be earned in a situation like that. Cyberworld is full of crazies.

What I think she is getting at is that she has developed feelings for you but doesn't want to rush into it because its way to soon. Which is why she says "I think we still have a lot to learn about each other" also the key words to her really liking you are "I have to be HONEST" most women on there second or third date know weather or not they will be with the guy and if not they don't say that they have to be Honest with them they will just lie to get out of the situation. So let the chemistry flow naturally and let you both learn more about one another. Its only the third date and there is a lot more to this woman than you know right now so let all things flow naturally and end the end she will either let you know or give you the sign that she is ready for a committed relationship. I hope this helped some and Good Luck.

It's her way of not giving you the wrong idea about the relationship. You have to admit, as guys, we go off the deep end when we think a chick digs us. She just wants to make sure it's a good thing before she truly opens up and allows herself to really get to know you. It's important for women to feel like they will get the support they need when they share there feelings. To us it's not a big deal because we are prety understanding about anything a woman can be as long as they aren't psycho. But to a woman, even revealing a tidbit about her past could end up coming back to hurt her.

Take it slow, play it cool. If it's meant to be, you'll know without asking.

I think she is interested in you, because she is asking for a third date but at the same time she is a little afraid of showing what she thinks and feels. And it is true you have "a lot" to know about each other so dont think she is avoiding you...dont rush things and be confident. Good luck!!!!

Its not bad, because she wants to see you again. Sounds like an off-the-cuff comment that you are blowing out of proportion. The only way to know if she is looking just for friendship is to try and kiss her again and see how that goes. If she stops you, then you can have a conversation about it. Otherwise, I would just continue with the dating. Who knows, if you go out with her again you may find out she is a man.

She's still deciding. I don't think she feels like she has enough info on the second party (you) to make a smart decision. Play it by ear! Don't act hurt or confused around her, it will turn the tables. Just be yourself and let the experience take it's course! It doesn't have to be in your control if you don't want it to be.
