I love my tattoos and I don't regret getting them done. I don't feel sorry about it and I doubt I ever will.

Use the internet to get ideas, but if you want a really good tattoo, take your ideas to a good tattoo artist and have them draw something custom for you. You'll be happier with your tattoo that way.

i am extremely happy with all of my tattoos. i have gotten some of them covered up because i was ignorant about chosing an artist. i didn't realize that some tattooers aren't talented. but i don't regret getting those tattoos. i still have the memory of getting it and the reason that i got it. i have never felt sorry about my tattoos, only like i said before sorry that i didn't pick a better artist to do my first few. ratemyink.com is a wonderful tattoo resource because you can see good and horrible tattoos and you'll know what to expect. here is a link to my ratemyink account with pictures of my tattoos and my husband's tattoos.

i have 5 tattoos and i love all of them, i got the first when i was 18 and have continued to get them over the past 10 years.

well to be honest, i get actual pictures that I love and the tattoo artist re-creates it to make it work as a tattoo. you can also put tattoos in the subject line in any search engine and it will pull up different ideas. it is best to go to the sites of the tattoo parlors in your area. they most of the time have visuals on their website...

always make sure the parlor is clean and you get a clean out of the package needle =)

Well, both my sister and I have tatts and we both wish we didn't. We weren't really "kids" when we got them -- early to mid 20s -- but we sure weren't thinking too far into the future. I don't think either of us regret it necessarily, mostly because you can't do much about it so regret would be a waste of time, but like someone else said, if I had the dough to get it removed I would do it.

That said, I actually LOVE good tatt artwork. My father has NUMEROUS tatts that are all beautiful and he loves them.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's ultimately whatever you WANT to do. I'd say wait and think on it if you can... good luck!

I love my tat and wouldn't change it for the world! I will be getting another this spring!
I googled tattoo, and searched some of the flash sites. Ultimately I found my own picture (buddha) which my artist copied and traced it on my back. There's nothing wrong with tribal or flash I just prefer originality.
It will be unique to you!

I'm 36, started getting tattooed when I was 30, and I love them. Most shops will have a website, with galleries. Do a search for shops in your area.

I personally would not want one... this is a very subjective topic. You're either a tattoo person or NOT . If you are considering having one done.. do your research. Spend the $$ and a reputable tattoo artist , because it's forever until you sag then die.. (unless you have it removed .. but i hear this even more expensive)
