I noted that one of the answers was that the person had pets and was sure that God loved them as well. If they really think that, they need to read the Bible, since it is normally taught from the Bible that animals have no immortal soul, only people. Once again coming back to me, me, me, me. That is all Christianity is about, it is their planet to do whatever they want, all the animals are there to do with what they want, etc. Terrible, but yet justify it as God told them it is ok.

Adam used to speak to the animals in the garden, I like to think it will be like that again one day.
There's a possibility we're not the smartest creatures on this planet. I see more looking into an animals eyes sometimes than I do humans.

Nothing is wrong with us. We're not greedy for the most part. I mean, it's not all about us, it's about God and His destiny for us and the world and YOU. It's all about Him and if some "Christian" has told you otherwise, maybe they need a reality check.
