Speak to one of the education committies, failing that they can use the computors in the libraries it is very popular in England to do it this way, after all its what we pay for in our taxes.Could you ask friends ,or ask on the web for computor parts that can make up a new computor (REFURBISH) cheaply.Look on e,bay.

I'm sorry I haven't heard of donated computers. You can get e-machine computers for $300 now days at Best Buy. Try thirft stores and garage sales. Most of them will let you plug it in to see if it works. Also, ask all your friends and family. Usually someone will have a computer in storage or they might even be ready to upgrade so they'll give you their old one. Or Ask schools, libraries, churches, businesses if they have any left over. check www.craigslist.com

Visit your local Goodwill store, eBay, pawn shops, and maybe even place an ad in the paper asking for a free or very cheap computer for a student.

go to a pond shop, keep an eye open for sales. walmart had a sale for lap-tops going around $300.00 once
