the nature of religion shows that what happens to you when you die is between you and your belief structure(God). If I believe in God and someone else doesn't, all I could morally do is hope they figure it out. I would have absolutely no right to interfere with their life, even if I think it is immoral (assuming the immoralities are hurting no one but the immoralist) because any conclusion that is reached about this persons ultimate fate is between them and God.It may behoove me to try to intervene, but getting to the point of name calling, shunning, or attacking is hypocrisy at its highest level, yet we see it every day from many religious people that are otherwise kind. Yet why do fundamentalists forget that they are wo/men and not holy instruments of God? We are fallible and each persons concept of religion and God and what it means is unique to them. Why not leave the punishments and judgments to God (who is infallible) since human fallibility could, and does, effect your judgment?

Very well said ... I think that most people want to be right and will argue til the cows come home. I realize though that although my religious choice is right for me, it may not be right for the next person. Underneath it all, we are all humans searching for something. Peace :-)

When men die, they are either in the presence of God or separated from him. God has called us as believers to call men to repentance and to be reconciled with God, for Christians are ministers of reconciliation. Name calling is bad especially for Christians who have been saved by grace, we ought to be the most humble people, yet we ought also to be bold for we stand on the truth. By necessity, however, this means that all other worldviews are false, so while each person may have their own concept of God, it is wrong if it is not according to God's Word. Judgment is always left to God, but the calling men to repent and turn to the God who saves is for the believer.

God says to go and be a fishermen of men... it is our responsibilty to share his word...

Matthew 28:18-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."

next time that happens, hold a mirror up to their face and tell them to check themselves out, for how do they know they are going to heaven? They are not God. Plus, they are very narrowminded and cannot see other people's options or opinions and believe EVERYTHING THEY READ AND HEAR and dont bother to research it themselves...........:) what a pity.......:(

I suppose that some of them think they are doing the right thing...others, I suppose, have nothing better to do or are pathetic people who CHOOSE to spend their lives belittling others.

They do not think they do this. They think it is those of us who differ from them who do this.
