The other day I told someone I don't want to know about their Baptist faith and they will not stop Emailing me
Saying they are trying to save my soul.
If I do not want to listen isn't it somewhere in their bible they should leave that person alone.
More like force religion in my opinion

My mother is a loving and well meaning Catholic, but she shoveled Catholicism down my throat for many years, I was forced to go to Church and CCD classes. When I became an adult I converted to Buddhism and never regretted it. My Mom still worries about my "soul". (But accepted it)
EDIT:I will let me children choose what religion they wish to follow when they are old enough and I will support their decisions.

Linda, I am sorry, that is horrible...it borders on stalking. Can you block them some way?

I do not think this is proper, even if its not in the Bible and as a person of faith, I cannot support someone who would do something like this.

I think ALL of us could be a little less pushy and a little bit more respectful of each other. If we did, maybe we could have some good conversations on here in spite of different thoughts and ideas.

Paul wrote about the favor to initiate up the uninitiated into the sacred secrets and techniques of the mysteries of God. regrettably, it really is not regularly understood contained in the religious circles which have heaped even better 'mint, cumin, and dill' onto the recent believers. somewhat than conserving them far flung from any church committees and busy-paintings household projects they somewhat immerse them right into a pretend-religious custom of churchianity. Church leaders reason those human beings to be so busy or perhaps placed them in positions of authority that they assure stunted religious strengthen in those human beings for a lengthy time period. UP-attain earlier OUT-attain! this must be a lifelong motto for all Christians. attain as a lot as God and allow your roots flow down deep. Then, you've something except your self to provide once you initiate to attain out to others with the gospel. Jesus does not offend too a lot of human beings. study about him by a relationship and then cutting-edge Him to the international. human beings were continually attracted to Jesus. in the journey that they don't look attracted to you once you discuss Him, you want to stop and have a glance at that!

As a strong believer I must admit that my fellow bro/sis' do push from time to time. And if you run into more than one of those type of people you are liable to be as blind as you seem to the fact that you are judging an ENTIRE race/spiritual group on your experience with a small group compared to how many truly exist.

I apologize for my bro/sis who make you feel uncomfortable. I pray that you will one day see the light and know the truth that will set you free. Free from the apparent torment that you have been receiving through emails ( that you don't have to read but can simply delete before opening). God loves you, Be blessed

On this forum, I don't see too much of it. Perhaps with as you mentioned, private email, it's another story.

On the whole, I think Christians just try to answer the questions that are asked. Since there are more questions asked about Christianity than any other faith, it may seem to overwhelm the forum, but that's only because people are ASKING.

I am a believer, and I say why don't you just block them from your email? I don't have a problem with other Christians sharing their faith. In fact, God commands that we do. I do have a problem when sharing turns into nagging. This is definately a situation of that.

Well, I am a Christian and I also happen to agree with you. So many Christians make it their job to "get you saved". That is so wrong . . . . it is the job of the Holy Spirit to win your soul. My job is to conduct my life in a manner that will glorify God.

Christians are commande by God to spread His word. Granted the person that is harrassing you seems to be going further than they should because this to turn a person off.
However, if they like you, which I am assuming is the case, ir seems to me that they are just concerned for your soul and would love to see you in Heaven someday.

So........Since they are concerned for you, deal with it.
If you don't want to read the emails,,,,,,don't read them. Be happy someone is trying to look out for you

Most Christians are more respectful, but it sounds like you've encountered one who has forgotten that there are many different faiths and philosophies in the world and not everyone subscribes to theirs or needs to. Their faith instructs them to witness to you, not to make a nuisance of themselves. Add them to your spam filter.

Not all Christians push their beliefs on others. It seems on this site more people against Christianity are trying to convert Christians. Just spam the people who are bothering you and your problem is solved.
