Check out the American Medical Association website. They can give you a listing in your area. I definitely would want someone who is certified for that particular type of surgery. Or else, call Dr. Rey from Dr. 90210, he's such a cutie!!! LOL

I don't have any specific names, but I have this advice: do your research! There are excellent cosmetic surgeons and there are awful ones. Abdominoplasty is a pretty serious surgery. Below I listed one link that I got off of my favorite breast augmentation site. I definitely want a BA and would really like to have abdominoplasty...but the scar concerns me because it's a big scar (usually from hip to hip.) I've done extensive research on breast augmentation though...you have to. The most important thing is finding a really good surgeon. Go to as many consults with different doctors as you can. Not only is it very expensive, it's your life in their hands-things can and do go wrong-you really want the best of the best for this type of thing.

Thousands of abdominoplasties are performed successfully each year. Choose a qualified plastic surgeon trained in body contouring; results are generally quite positive. There are risks associated with surgery and specific complications associated it. Surgeon should explain the anesthesia he or she will use, type of facility where the surgery will be performed. In most cases, health insurance policies do not cover the cost of abdominoplasty. Check your policy. In your initial consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your health, determine the extent of fat deposits in your abdominal region, and carefully assess your skin tone. Try online referral service of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). ASPS founded in 1931, is the largest plastic surgery organization in the world and the foremost authority on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. All ASPS physician members are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Procedure is available in Mexico at more modest cost. You have to research thoroughly, many surgeons have undergone extensive training abroad and in Britain and U.S. Talk to patients who have undergone treatment to find a surgeon properly able to perform operation. I live in Mexico and have seen excellent results with absolutely no complications for persons having quite major surgery to the face.

Abdominoplasty surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
