The Dead Sea scrolls comprise roughly 825-872 documents, including texts from the Hebrew Bible, discovered between 1947 and 1956 in eleven caves in and around the Wadi Qumran (near the ruins of the ancient settlement of Khirbet Qumran, on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea). The texts are of great religious and historical significance, as they are practically the only known surviving Biblical documents written before AD 100.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are ancient documents found near the Dead Sea. They are believed to be missing links, or the truer versions of the Bible.

In summation, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in the mid-fifties of the last century in highly-elevated caves in Israel. They contained scrolls that had copies of some of the books in the Bible. I can't remember the rest, but I believe the caves were called or near a place called Qumran.

as you can see, the dead sea scrolls were found in Qumran in the caves by the red sea. These scrolls are very contraversial because they contain Enoch I, II, III, which describes 200 watcher/Grigori angels making a pact on Mt. Hermon near Jordan and descending to the earth to cohabitate with earthly women and thus came the race of giants known as Nephillim, in the Bible Genesis 6 briefly covers this, also mentions Anakim and Rephaim giants - see story of David and Goliath (modern day Palestinians are descendents of the Philistines who came from the Rephaim race. This free will by angels show that they are infallible and thus not perfect as imagined beforehand. Also the scrolls talk about the code of ethics (Code of Habbakkuk)for the priestly schooling and of the war between the sons of darkenss and sons of light(the fall of Lucifer from heaven where he and 1/3 of heaven fight Archangel Michael and 2/3 of heaven and win).........

They are scrolls found in jars in the cave of qumran in Israel.

They are from the time of Jesus.

The book of Isaiah is on display at The Shrine of The Book in Israel. It is exactly the same manuscript as the text that we use today and have made our translations into english.
