The best cures for a hangover, are to first off drink lots of water, or other fluids alcohol dehydrates you, and this causes the headache. Also you should take vitamin supplements b and c, both are depleted when drinking, and both help to raise energy levels, and reduce the stress on the body. Try to eat something, usually soup is good, because your stomach is most likely stressed from all the alcohol. And number one is sleep, when you fall asleep after drinking large amounts of sleep, you are unconscious, but your body is fighting off the alcohol, so you don't really get any rest, which is a huge factor in the feelings you experience the next day, such as fatigue, dizziness, and anxiety. So try all these, and you should be OK.

I have a folk remedy book and it says to cut a lemon in half and place it(pulp side in) into the pit of your arm. rub it in a circular motion i dont know if this works or not because I dont never get hangovers but if i did I would try it. I always eat something and I also drink alot of water before I go to bed so I dont get hangovers

Actually it sounds like Kathleen D and Faeriegal are both on to something. I've tried both of their remedies. Just uncapping a bottle of B vitamins is enough to make me throw up after a night of excess though. I recommend anything that is chicken based.
Popeyes fried chicken or Chicken & Andouille (sausage) Gumbo work best for me however.

I heard that breathing in pure oxygen cures hangovers, but I've never actually tried it.

A big healthy breakfast of eggs, fruit, juices, and toast... whenever you decide to roll out of bed. Not burnt toast, but food to soak up the alcohol still in your stomach.

Plenty of liquids, water, ginger ale, etc. Personally, I used to drink milk and it helped, but I would not recommend this to anyone. Water will help a lot.
