this is to all my insurance agent people in florida, i have a life & health licsence, and i needed to know whats the success rate of doing business writting business and being able to make good money in florida? and whats the best insurance company to work for in florida( with leads) but im open to new ideas, im moving to florida very soon and i havent have time to really look in to it yet

I'd imagine the market is really tough. I'm under the impression that the average age is "retired", and that medicare is the largest health provider. You're going to have a really hard time selling health & life to elderly people.

I live in Florida and I sell legal insurance, which is booming. I talk to many health, life insurance agents who are struggling. My brothe in law sold life insurance for a while, but it was so difficut, just because of what someone said here, there are a lot of retired people and such! Good luck to you. Where is Florida are you moving!

I heard after Hurricane Wilma that alot of insurance companies were getting out of Florida. I know many people who were dropped, and they had to try and find new insurance (Home). And the prices have gone through the roof (Absolutely no pun intended...)
