Ok, First of all, your diet has NOTHING to do with your skin~that is an old belief. Any dermatologist today will tell you that. I have the same problem-big pores on my nose and chin and it always looks like there is something in my pores. I bought one of the microdermabrasion clothes off of eBay and it works so well, but I have to do it about every 3 days. My skin has never looked or felt better-I'm not sure where you can get one if you don't do eBay, but if you do check it out, the seller I bought from is YUMMYSWEETZ. I paid less than $10 and it works wonders. Good Luck!! :)

I feel for you - I had blackheads back in the day and I always washed my face and kept it clean of make-up whenever i'm was at home. I also did these steps once a week to keep my face clear of pimples and blackheads:

1)Once a week I would exfoliate my face with a good face scrub. (I like St. Ives Apricot Scrub)
I also sometimes use a home remedy face scrub that is made up of 1/4 cup brown sugar & 3 tablespoons of milk.

2) Boil some water and steam your face using the steam that comes off of the hot water. I usually hover over the hot pan of water and put a bath towel over my head and the pan so my face can get all the steam without any of it escaping.

3) Wash my face with a good face soap that isnt very drying. After you rinse off all the soap using a lukewarm water, use cold water and close up your pores. You want to do this before you put on your moisturizer so it cant get into your pores and clog them.

4) last but not least you need to choose a good moisturizer. (i like purpose moisturizer. It has sunscreen and redness reducer added into it, and best of all you can buy it at Wal-mart). Then apply it to your face before you go to bed or before you put on your make-up.

Hope this helps you out because i know how frustrating it can be to have blackheads and not be able to get rid of them.

You probably have oily skin or what many of us have, combination skin where one part is dry and the nose area is oily. I would try using a mild soap like Dove, that does not contain too many oils. I would also keep a napkin or cloth with you at all times and just wipe your face 2 or 3 times during the course of the day.

Blackheads develop when skin pores are blocked up. Keep the skin clean and reduce the oil and the blackheads will go away. Lastly, drink more water.

You are doing half the job correct but what you are missing is a chemical to Abstract the Dirty Oils from deep inside the pores. Use a Face Mask 2 times per week.
you need something now to get deep into the pores on your skin and pull the Yuk out.

Here is a few mask idea's and bottles are around $5 dollers and up making them Very affordable.

Dead Sea Salt masks
Hot Face Masks
Mud Masks

Exfoliating the Skin is great but it only cleans the Outside of the skin.
Moisturises are great but it can clog pores if you don't clean them out.
those are both good but you are only doing half the job.

Actually, blackheads will never go away, it is a ritual to keep cleaning to bring blackheads n whiteheads to the minimum.

I think facial is the easiest way out. Self-extractin is dangerous, sometimes you might exert too much force and hurt your skin.

Exfoliate too much isnt good too, you skin will become very sensitive, worst case, will cause breakout if too much exfoliation.

Invest on a good facial package, go for facial treatment every week, the professionals will extract the blackheads and dirt in your skin for you.

I have the same problem. I have enlarged pores on my nose that do not seem to respond to any at home treatment. So I extract the blackheads as they appear. If you find something that works let me know. Good luck

Proactiv works pretty well on black heads, also try Biore pore strips. The combination of hthe two work really well. Also you could try to a facial that is meant for acne prone skin. They extract them

try an egg-white mask. Just separate an egg (using just the whites) and evenly apply to face, let it dry, then rinse. Really tightens up the pores, which leads to less black heads! And its cheap and natural!
