Whould you date a person short or the same hight as you? or do you just date guys taller then you?

My boyfriend is about 3 inches taller than me and that is almost too short. I fell bad because the whole concept of the man needing to be taller is a silly idea perpetuated by society, but I can't help it. I could never date someone shorter than me no matter how stupid I know that sounds.

I am 6' tall and let me tell you, for a woman, it is really hard to find a man that will date a woman taller than he is! My first husband was shorter than me and my current husband is the same height. So, none of that matters in my book. If the other person is kind, caring and shows signs of being a good person, then nothing else matters!

I prefer guys taller than I am but will date someone the same height - not shorter since I wear boots most of the year

I'm about 5'3", and since I don't want children, there's not necessarily a problem with dating guys about my height. The thing that bothers me is when I feel like short guys approach me because they don't have any other options (because taller women won't date them) - not because we seem compatible or because of my personality. I mean, hey - HE might not have any other options, but I DO! ; )

I havent before, but I am really interested in a guy that is the same hight as me, and I would date him. Hight doesnt matter. Good luck in all you do!

My husband is right around my height I am 5'7 he is 5'8 I would not change a thing about him I had boyfriends in the past bothered by my height which I never thought was extreme. I base more on personality how I am being treated plus my hubby is hot!

Most of the time i go for guys taller than me, but if you really like the guy them it shouldn't matter what his height is.

I dated a guy that was shorter than I was. I am 5'8" and he was 5'6" although he said he was 5'7".
I had to try to find shoes that had no heel because I knew he was already embarrassed enough.
I am not sure I would do it again, but if the guy was comfortable with himself it would be much better.

it does not matter, although I have only dated guys taller. it just looks weird for the girl to be taller. same height means you can't wear heels with him.
