The only time this can succeed is if the man LETS the women change him, if he realises what she is trying to do. Then it depends on what shes trying to change? for instance i wldnt let my missus change my appearance or my relationships with my family and friends, but on the other hand lets say I was an alcoholic/drug addict and I really loved me missus and she asked me to try and change/cut down or stop then of course I would then try my damnedest to change bcoz she has my best interests at heart. As it would show me how much she loves and cares for me and If i truly loved her (which i do!) then she wld succeed in changing me.

the only thing a woman can change about a man is deciding after he goes to sleep if you are gonna let him wake up or not! lol

A woman can never change a man, unless he wants to change too. Even in this case, she can only support him changing himself - he will do the changing.

if a woman is trying to change a man, then she is not the one for him. They are not right for each other.

I agree that if you really love that person then you should not want them to change but when i first met my boyfriend i loved his personality and everything about him but he was really into drinking he would drink all the time and not just drink he would get completely waisted... i loved being with him when he wasn't drinking but when he was it was really hard so after about 3 months i told him that he was going to have to back off on the drinking or i was leaving... and he quit! things changed alot!

Why would you want to change someone? You liked the way they were when you met them. I think it's very arrogant to think you can change someone! They are who they are, you either love them for them or not at all.

IF YOU WANT YOUR MAN TO CHANGE YOU ARE IN THE WRONG RELATIONSHIP.
WE DO HAVE TO COMPROMISE IN RELATIONSHIPS BUT WE FIND WHAT WE CAN TOLERATE. WHAT CHANGE DO YOU WANT? CAN YOU TOLERATE HIM NOT CHANGING? OR DO YOU HAVE TO CHANGE? IT FEELS WRONG TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP HOPING THE OTHER WILL CHANGE, IT BUILDS UP FRICTION AND RESENTMENT AND THEY ARE NEVER GOOD THINGS FOR A LOVING, LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIP.
IN SITUATIONS LIKE THIS WE HAVE TO BEGIN WITH THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR.

When he wants to change and the things that she tries to change aren't related to actual personality disorders.

Never!!! Hasn't your mother ever taught you you can't change someone. If you aren't liking what you got, then leave don't try to change someone.
