It depends on what kind of TV inputs you have. If you have an external screw for an antenna on the back then yes. If you just have cable input this might be a little difficult, without opening the television and looking for the tuner/antenna. If you do have an external antenna screw on the back of your set and you don't want to spend to much money find some electrical wiring, usually you can find some unused in the walls pull it out and attach to the tv. about 10 foot should help bring in some local stations. You could also head over to Walmart or Radio Shack and pick up an antenna booster for under $20 bucks but that's just a waste of money, since you could probably find one at GoodWill or Ebay for a buck or two.

For fifty cents ,I know a homeless dude who will stand behind your tv with the foil or whatever else you want, and move till sumpin comes in for ya!!
for 2 bucks five of them will come in and perform for the whole week and you can save money on the electric cause you won't even need to turn the dern thing on!you could also get binoculars from pawn shop and just watch the neighbors tv,but you need to read lips....you may also see some stuff you don't wanna see,or do whichever......

I recommend spending a few dollars on an antenna. but if you don't want to you can just attach a coaxial cable to the television and run it to your roof... this way any signals in the air will be picked up along the length of the cable and be carried to your television thus make it so you can destroy your eyes and brain while watching endless hours of television,

I used to use a Coat Hanger as an antenna when I was livin' in a slum, broke, hungry, paying my way thru college, working two jobs, and couldn't afford cable tv service. Mabye try that.
Or better yet, steal cable from your neighbor !!! (i never did that, wink, wink)
